Hi, I’m Marcia Whitfield, and I’m the co-founder of Camden Special Steps, an organization that provides a non-profit program for local adults with exceptional needs. We engage in a wide variety of pursuits, including creative endeavors, athletic endeavors, and the acquisition of new abilities. Anyone interested in volunteering or participating is encouraged to stop by the Camden PSA whenever they have the time.

The 12 Who Care winners were chosen from an esteemed panel of outside judges as well as an internal committee supported by First Coast News employees. Each Spring First Coast News asks the public to submit their nominees. This year, we received more than three dozen nominees.
